You can use set long menu = none to turn it off if you want. It is currently working, but it will be removed in a future update, as it has known errors. The old renderer is available either through the settings pane (below advanced) or by setting the default setting “MMRenderer” to 0. The Core Text Renderer has been rewritten and is now much faster! Rolling should not stutter and lie as before, and in general it should feel much smoother now.
